Jones Family Insurance Agency is dedicated to providing quality service and products to church organizations. Operations began in Indiana in 1978, offering insurance products to churches and church organizations, including, but not limited to, daycare centers, schools, and denomination headquarters.

Our agency represents several companies to assist in offering options to your organization (GuideOne, Mennonite Mutual, and Grinnell). Today we serve ministries in Arizona, Indiana, Kentucky, New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Churches face unique loss exposures, and we continue to work with our carriers to improve their products and keep them innovative and flexible. When losses occur, we work closely with your claims adjuster to help solve and prevent any unforeseen problems in the settlement process. It is important to us that in a claim situation, settlement is smooth and expeditious. Specializing in coverage for the church and the people in the pew are our motivation. I'm happy to offer heartfelt recommendations for Jones Family Insurance agency, which our church has worked with over many years. Our most recent experience was a disastrous flood resulting from a broken sprinkler head in the church kitchen. By the time the main water line was shut off, water had spread throughout most of our building, soaking the carpeting and the insulation behind the walls in the classrooms and hallways. Over the next six months, a lot of work went into remediation and restoration of our church. Thankfully, the inspections of the damage were done quickly by Doug Jones staff, and we quickly found out that our insurance coverage was great with this type of claim. Their communication was very good, and we all knew we were in good hands of experienced insurance professionals who had gone through similar situations like ours many times. If another organization wants to utilize your facility/property, what is the process?

Is it a one-time event or ongoing?

If it is a one-time event, request Proof of Insurance by means of a Certificate of Liability Insurance listing your organization as the Certificate Holder. Also, request they sign a Hold Harmless Agreement releasing your organization of any liability and putting responsibility on them.

If it is ongoing, install the same steps as above. In addition, request to be listed as Additional Insured on the certificate as well as on their own insurance policy.
